Description

Watercourse yesterday and today | The antique Roman canal is the best Roman engineering art, laid out over 95 kilometres as a pure gradient water pipe, to the inhabitants of Colonia Agrippina, today Cologne, with fresh water from the Eifel. Along the partially restored building from the time around 80-90 AD runs now the Roman canal footpath. Half way between Nettersheim and Cologne the information centre is located in the heart of Rheinbach. Thus the water also finds its proper course here, were TTC stainless steel facade gutters with grating covers installed. LED light lines on the façade bring the building into right light and also show the way in the exhibition. LED downlights and light tracks with LED spots with different Beam angles ensure good lighting of the exhibition rooms and exhibits around the topic "How the water learned to walk."
